Japan Study’s mission is to enable students to become international citizens as they explore Japan in depth, build language skills, and experience Japanese culture. Living with a Japanese family, taking courses at Waseda University, and participating in a cultural internship offer different windows for experiencing and understanding the complex society of contemporary Japan.

Provide support to low-income students -- many of whom will have never before left the United States
Offer a more diverse array of cultural internship options for students of all academic backgrounds
Plan unique group excursions to historical and cultural sites throughout Japan
